Intro: My name is Harold Turpen. I am 60 years old. I have had corporate jobs, now I am working as an armed security officer for an energy company. Nearing retirement I am looking to start a business I can start and run on my own. I like making things especially for people who appreciate skilled craftsmanship. So I found out about lasers. I bought a diode laser and outgrew it very quickly. The bed was not near large enough for my projects and was way too slow. Next I started researching C02 lasers. That is what brought me to Monport.
I have about one more year until I retire. I also practice woodworking, glass bottle cutting and candle making.
