In this video, we’ll be creating a custom tree design countdown calendar using the Monport Effi9s 90W CO2 Laser Engraver with a LightBurn Camera. We’re going to use LightBurn to create the design of this advent calendar and incorporate spinning ornaments. Additionally, to make the project more custom, we’ll be using powder coat on our numbers and words, and paint the ornaments. I hope you enjoy this episode of craftmas!
In this video, we’ll be making a custom holiday diorama of a mini fireplace with stockings and wrapped gifts. We’re going to be using boxes.py to create the shape of our design, lightburn to set up settings/cutomize design, we’ll use the Mopnport Effi9s CO2 laser to cut out our design/engrave foam, use paint to add dimension to the fireplace, and a variety household items to add extra details to our miniature brick fireplace diorama. In this video, we unbox, set up, and test the upgraded Monport Effi9S 90W CO2 Laser Engraver & Cutter with Autofocus and a Built-in Water Chiller. You’ll see real cutting and engraving tests to help you set up your own machine or decide whether this model is the right fit for you. We’ll run pass and power tests on 1/4" plywood and 5mm acrylic, and evaluate its air-assist performance and integrated red-light positioning. With a max engraving speed of 1400 mm/s, we’ll also test how quickly it can cut a 30-inch-wide piece of material. Enjoy the machine—and the results!
