  • I'm expert with Illustrator, Photoshop, Aspire, VistaSculpt, Plasticity. Own a sign biz. A Mac user. Can I use these programs to create files to be cut on your machine with Lightburn? I want to engrave and 3D engrave metals, rock, shale and clear cast Acrylic. I understand wood is not doable? What materials are unsuitable for this machine?

    Hi. Our machine support BMP, GIF, JPG, JPEG, DXF, DST, Al.etc image formats.  You can create files and export picture formats with Illustrator, Photoshop, Aspire, VistaSculpt, and Plasticity, and then cut them with Lightburn. Our machine can be used to engrave metal, rock, shale, opaque acrylic. It cannot be used to engrave clear cast acrylic. This machine is not suitable for engraving cloth, wood, and some materials that produce toxic gases when processed.
